For custom configurations like adding a date or location to a scene, etc - Scrivener is more intuitive and also for exporting final publish-grade formats, from ready to print manuscript pdfs, to ebooks, etc - it isn't easy and intuitive, but it is extremely configurable and you can pretty much set up your output to the nth degree.(Both can be done in Scrivener too, of course, I just find yW tidier in how it handles it) I also find dragging and dropping scenes to organise the story and general bird's eye view of project to be more useful in yWriter. Its writing tool is fairly decent too for plain writing and basic text exporting. For outlining, I prefer wavemaker.cards - particularly its snowflake tool and flowcharts.
